Over the past two years, the Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the SADC Pontiac, has been encouraging residents to “Shop Le Pontiac” – a digitally forward marketing campaign designed to help small businesses build brands within the community. Since its launch, the program has provided 20 local businesses with:
- Professional photography of their business, location, and products
- Short but sharable video designed to work on screens of all sizes
- Exposure on the Shop Le Pontiac’s social media
- SEO-rich content on the Chamber of Commerce’s website
The cost for high-quality photography and videography can easily reach upwards of $3,000 or more, but through funding made available by the SADC, members of the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce only pay 10% of the cost – $300 for all of the digital assets that you can use for years to come.
The "Sights & Sounds of the Pontiac" Edition
For the 2024 edition of Shop Le Pontiac, we’re embracing the sensations of sight and sound! The incorporation of sights and sounds in marketing campaigns plays a pivotal role in creating memorable and impactful experiences for consumers.
In today’s digital age, where we are all overwhelmed with content, the strategic use of visual and auditory elements can significantly differentiate a brand. Engaging sights captivate the audience’s attention, while distinctive sounds resonate emotionally, leading to a deeper connection with the brand. This multisensory approach not only enhances the attractiveness of marketing messages but also aids in better retention of information. For local businesses in the Pontiac, embracing the “Sights and Sounds of the Pontiac” theme offers a unique opportunity to tell stories in a more immersive and engaging way.
Plus, without the spoken word, these videos are compliant with language legislation like Québec’s Bill 96!
